About Me
Hi, I’m Atul, the founder of Rahman Events. I started this journey in 2010 after assisting at another event planning company and realizing how much I truly loved planning and coordinating. While I had always organized events for my family, it wasn’t until then that I saw this passion could become a career. Planning memorable moments has been a part of who I am since I was young, and it’s something I love doing every day.
One of the biggest reasons I chose this path is simple: I never want a bride and groom—or any client—to feel stressed on their special day. I want them to enjoy every moment without interruptions or last-minute decisions. I listen carefully, plan thoughtfully, and make sure every detail reflects their vision. Seeing the smile on their faces when they see the final setup is what makes my work truly rewarding.
While I specialize in weddings, no event is too small. I also love planning birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and corporate events. Every celebration deserves care, attention, and a touch of magic—and that’s exactly what I aim to bring to each one.
Life Beyond Events
When I am not planning an event, I love spending time with my family—whether it’s over a casual lunch, brunch, or dinner at home, or going away on trips with them. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, watching movies, shopping, and giving myself some well-deserved “me time.”
One of my favorite ways to unwind is cooking with my wife in the kitchen. We love experimenting with new recipes, trying different cuisines, and simply enjoying the process together—it’s one of our favorite ways to connect and create memories.
I also share my home with my cats, who keep life fun and unpredictable. Watching them explore, play, or just curl up around the house is a simple joy I treasure every day.
I have a passion for collecting high-end colognes. I believe a great scent can transport you to another world—or even take you back in time. I also enjoy jewelry; I think men can make a statement with one or two carefully chosen pieces that are both classy and bespoke.
Although I may not work out regularly, I stay active during events. Walking quickly from one end to the other keeps my adrenaline flowing and my energy up—it’s all part of the job I love.
Finally, I strongly believe that even negative experiences—or moments that might seem like a waste of time—can teach you something valuable. Keep your eyes and mind open, and there’s always something to learn.
